Or, type [quote=WHOEVER YOU WANT TO ATTRIBUTE THE QUOTE TO ]THE TEXT THAT YOU ARE QUOTING[/quote ] (leaving out those spaces before the "]"
For an unattributed quote, just leave out the "=WHOEVER YOU WANT TO ATTRIBUTE THE QUOTE TO"

Little known secret: If you want to include brackets in your quote, you need to add quotation marks (ie: quote="[violet]"):
, [mantle], and [dredd]"]Rawr, we get brackets!
