The UN is a monopoly

According to the laws of capitalism, when one organization is the sole organization in its field, it becomes a monopoly. I propose having a "Anti-United Nations" or "Allied Pact"

Heh. There are many anti-UN groups. And there are hundreds of alliances. Just not as incorporated in the game as the United Nations.

There have been player spawned discussions about having multiple international organizations in NS2 ... though what I've always thought the challenging part is how do you show the interactions between the two, assuming of course that you would have the ability to have different nations jump to different organizations.
But does it make sense for a nation to belong to more than one international organization? Sometimes, but probably not other times. :/
As the UN Peacekeepers suggested, you are free to roleplay an anti-UN. But let me ask you this ... if the organization is there to be an "anti-UN", if the UN went away, what would the purpose behind that organization be?
I've always felt "Satanism" is a silly religon, because all it is, is "anti-Christianity". If the Christians weren't around, would Satanism then be anti-Judiahism or anti-Hindi?
My point is that if the purpose behind something is "anti", then whomever is in that organization should really take a long hard look at their involvement and really decide what they are interested in.

if you wish to go against the UN... then don't join it... is that not "anti-UN" of a sort?

Basically, I guess.
Havinf multiple organiations at once would be very interesting. Peraps allowing only a nation to be in one organization at once. There could be different organizations according to ideologes:
Anarchist group, Communist group, Capitalist group,etc...
These different groups could only endorse members of the same group, and this would allow nations to show their beliefs in a greater perspective.
(Just an idea) The organization names could be changed to something cooler.

... or you could have a multitude of these organisations, already existent. As was stated by Nanakaland.
I do not see why it would even be worth coding multiple official organisations into the game. There would be an never-ending list of potential organisations, and they would be inflexible in structure.

I don't want to completely hijack this subject, so I'll just content myself with informing you that you are quite wrong here. The blood-drinking baby-killing dog-sacrificing "Satanic Cults" are largely urban legend. Anyway, back on topic...

Or that. Guess that one would make more sense.
