OK I'm sure it's been asked by millions of newbies but I'll go ahead and ask again :).
I can't get the damn confirmation email for UN membership to reach me. I always receive the telegram, wait for 24 hours and nothing, nada, nawt, zip. I've tried like 5 different email addresses and no luck. It can't be an ISP blocking it, I mean I receive all sorts of ridiculous spam, I have no anti-spam filter enabled whatsoever.
Ideas?

Well, are you sure you are typing your e-mail in correctly? Moreover, the confirmation should take about 24 hours I believe. I don't think I got mine automatically. If that's not the case it's either a php malfunction or a server problem and that would have to be dealt by someone who knows the server and the coding - a.k.a the admins/moderators.

As a Forum mod, I don't have access to that portion of the game, so I can't speak definitively, but I beleive that in virtually every case ever brought up, the problem was on the player's end, not ours.
The fact that your spam filter doessn't filter spam is not definitive, either. Go look at your ISP's halp pages.

I don't know about UN notification, but when I created my two puppets, it took over a day until I had __forum__ access. Perhaps the server takes about the same time to process UN membership for the first time? My guess would be the same as the Macabees suggested, namely that perhaps your email has a problem (as in is getting lost or is typed in wrong).
