You need to be your region's delegate. Then, you go to the proposals section and click "approve this proposal."

Little correction on that. To approve a resolution you only have to be a UN-member. To give you support to proposals, you have to be UN-delegate.
Just go to the UN-page, and you'll probably figure it out in no time.

Little correction on your correction. You've got it backwards

Jjuulliiaann was correct in the formal sense of Approvals, in that only delegates see the link in the List Proposals (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=UN_proposal) view that allows you to Approve proposals to go to the floor of the General Assembly. It takes 6% of Delegate approvals to make the floor. Regular UN members can view the list, but can't do anything in the context of the game until it hits the floor for a vote.

Anyone, regardless of UN membership, can support proposals by discussing them in the UN forum. Support is not a meaningful word in NationStates, but Approval is a specific function assigned to UN Delegates.

It is not backwards;

Just check what I wrote:
- To vote on resolutions you have to be a UN-member
(FAQ says: So I'm a UN member, now what? The first thing to do is inspect the current UN resolution at vote (if there is one). If you agree, vote for it; if you don't, oppose it.
- To approve proposals you have to be a UN-delegate.
(FAQ says: Delegates also have the unique ability to approve proposals, deciding which of them will become resolutions to be voted on by the entire UN)

The original question was about "resolutions", while Jjuul talked about "proposals"... So I corrected him on that:
How do I approve a resolution????

Yeah, but the initial question is misleading, because generally you don't use the verb 'approve' with resolutions. You vote for or against them.

Anyway, in both senses of the question, I think it's been answered accurately.
