is ther any way that i can change some of the initial settings, other than creating a new country? and is there any way that i can view the settings that i chose. (at the beginning) and they are not vissible under settings?

if you mean those questions that you answered and that determined the UN category of your nation...only by answering the issues and by joining the UN (that changes your category too, mostly to the left, i think..)

The questionaire that was taken at the beginning of your nation's creation cannot be retaken. As "Crazy Girl" said, your economy, political freedoms and civil rights may only be chnaged by your decisions on the issues.
As for the settings page, you may change, the title of your nation(for example: The Republic of Orange Street you can change to The Theocracy of pornage Street)Ater you reach teh 500million population, you may name your nation tile(only) as you please.
