NSEconomy, too!?

It's messed up, too. Try searching for a nation. It'll say 'That nation does not exist!'

'tis because there are no nations for it to recognize using the XML feed. no nations available to read = no possible way for it to determine nation statuses.

NSEconomy draws its info from a live XML feed, I beleive. If NS is down, so is the feed.

(If Commerce Heights uses cached data and wants to correct me, I'm fine with that. It's not our site anyway.)

If you're that bored, NSwiki (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) is running fine. So are the various Invision and ProBoards sites. Go play.

Well, mostly - if you've got a flag hotlinked from NationStates, that won't be working.

And Jolt, if you're reading this, get NationStates up. NOW. OR FACE GREAT JUSTICE.

NS is back now, so NS-Economy should be too.

Honestly, I typed 'gatesville" as a region and it gave me "Region to big"

? Can someone make the calculator recognize big regions?

The NSEconomy has a region size limit. If you want data on your individual nation, you can move it temporarily to another smaller region to check it. But you can't check regional data for the larger regions.

If you don't want to move out of your region to a smaller one, use the Sunset calculator (http://www.sunsetrpg.com/economystatistics.php).

While you may be able to view nations that are in a large region, with Sunset's calculator, it does not give region information.

Having a region itself displayed is NSeconomy, is limited because, I am fairly sure, that the regional XML data does not present a list of nations once the regional population is over 250.
