Added. But anytime that [violet] wants to ask whether s/he should be stripped of modship, I'm not complaining. That was one of the funniest things I have seen in a while.

Still, I hope no one flames newbies who ask things about how much funds they have or something, because they may not relize thats only RP.

Why does SilliusSoddus think he's a mod?
He doesn't, and isn't.
I don't know, maybe because he is?
EDIT: Not longer up to date.

So, all these "Mods I need your attention ASAP" does not belong here, but they still belong here? :?
Well, sometimes they do, and sometimes they don't, but trying to figure out the correct route for the information each time is practically impossible. So, basically you should take a second though before you post them. And preferably have a more descriptive title.

Something else you may want to put in there: DO NOT post your topic again and again. One time is plenty.

What about creating a sticky thread that is for game improvement suggestions? I am never sure if a small suggestion really deserves its own thread, and having them all in one place might prove useful.

I don't think so, but he'll probably become one the next time [violet] decides to add new mods.

His name is in green, so he technically is, he just can't do any modly things. 8)

Nice try, but nope. Technically, I'm a "modling''. And perhaps that will happen, but it isn't really my goal in life.

This is an interesting idea and one I will consider. However, these have a tendancy to ramble on in discussion (sometimes valid) of said ideas, and most of these will not be implemented, and it would be very difficult for me to keep it pruned.

So for example the small sort of suggestion I mean is the following.
When the UN proposals were changed so that a nation must have at least 2 endorsements in order to make a proposal, that helped some. But we still have over 20 *pages* of proposals at any one time. I suggest that we up the requirement to 5 endorsements.

I would like to submit my own design for my nations flag. Is this possible? I have seen some that look personal in design, and since it is my nation, I would also like my own design.
Who do I contact, or what do I do?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thnx.

In the settings thing there's a link with the text Or create your own flag! under the flag selection thing. You can upload a flag there... but it has to be the right width and height and file size.
Maybe instead of just a sticky you could come up with some way to make it easier for the new players to find their way around. It is confusing when someone first comes in.

I have a couple of technical issues, as well as a proposal for the site.
1. Aside from the time out errors I have experienced lately, I also found it impossible to search for another member of the UN by country name. When I entered the name 'Colonel Smith' as instructed to do so by one of the help pages I visited, and hit enter, I was taken to my own country page. I am not Colonel Smith, so it stands to reason there is/was something wrong with the coding.
2. I have found it difficult to traverse the proposals needing endorsements, due to the high number of proposals that have similar ends. Is there anyway these proposals can be catagorized, and allow people reviewing new proposals to review them by catagory? Secondly to this issue, are proposals of similar ends being rejected, and telegrams sent to the proposing nations to encourage them to cooperately enter a new proposal?
Since the second issue is a technical issue, I did not want to offend staff by offering this as a UN proposal. But there is one currently that seeks to appoint a committees chairperson, who would then seek to sit countries into these tasks by committee. They could, if allowed, be the ones to handle such technical issues after the staff has reviewd resolutions and proposals and decided them worthy of remaining.
3. I have found it helpful for messageboards who have a technical issues forum to use only one topic for proposals and a second topic for bug reporting. I would like to suggest that this board do the same, as it would prevent numerous topics on similar subjects from being posted and allow staff to check only one place for all the bug reports, ect. The first and foremost post in each would be an updated list of things that have already been reported, and issues are/were being addressed (or proposals), then user posts would then be deleted. This would greatly reduce the amount of space dedicated to such issues.

Go to their nation page, scroll to the bottom, and click "Add Your Endorsement". This only works with UN members in the same region as yourself.
Please keep in mind that by endorsing a nation, you'll move them one step closer to being or remaining delegate of your region. Whoever has the most endorsements will be the delegate, so do think about who you want in charge.

And you must also be a UN member. Non members can't endorse anyone.

I tried to start a new topic but the link would not work. So this is the best I can do.
I want to delete the country: OverlandSailors. It is mine, and I no longer wish to partcipate in the game. Frankly I am tired of the lack of moderate/reasonable options in the issues.
I have been all over the site looking for a way to do this to no avail.ou
Please tell me how to delete my country, or simply delete it yourself if you prefer. Likewise, feel free to ban me. I don't can what it takes, I just want my country deleted.
I would enjoy a game like this, if it was more serious. I did not realize the entire thing was a joke. Though it was interesting for a bit, I would prefer a more realistic simulation.
Thanks for you time.

Just don't log on.
Sometimes it could be in tech or Issues, I have 3 nations, I set one up in settings as one issue per day, and the other two as one issue per weekday, and I am still getting one Issue per day on all 3 of them.
I changed the Password to 3 diffrent passwords, incase the computer system
is getting confused, it didnt work.
Can someone fix this, if this is not the proper place to post this, can someone
please let me know that too, please feel welcomed to use the telegram
system service.
Thank You

From past experience: may no longer be true --
If you are on a dialup service such as AOL where many people share the same IP address, if THEY have messed up logging in, this will affect YOUR login as well.
Try back again.
If I let one of my nations die after 28 days,
and I want to revive it later, does it
come back with the same population
it died with and all the rankings
and profile?
The population question is the one
I am most intrested in.
Do I need to ask the mods or
just do it on my own?

I have a suggestion.
I believe a search engine on the "Passed Resolutions" page would be beneficial.
I've noted many people submitting proposals on topics already resolved. I've caught myself nearly doing the same thing. A search engine on the "Resolutions" would make research easier before we hammer out a repeat.
Also, perhaps an upgrade (whatever ya call it) on the "Listed Proposals" search engine would help. I can't get it to list my proposals. I can only find them by scouring pages.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Good day.

in red means it is a quote edit
First part: yes, if you die and come back, you will keep population, profile, and ranking. I don't know when that was added, but sometime after may, because after i revived myself in may, i didn't keep old population, but this time i did. I beleive this would be a good time to thank you guys for implementing this, i really didn't want to start over at 425 million population again
second part: you must send a message to teh moderaters on teh getting help page, asking for your nation to be revived. If you give them an Email, they will email you telling you its revived. If you don't, they just revive it normally
