When your nation is deleted for inactivity, does its population still continue to grow? Or, alternatively, does it continue to grow but at a much slower rate? Because I used to have another nation whose population was much larger than this one's, which subsequently got deleted for inactivity. Now that the kind mods have resurrected it, its population is actually less than this one's by about 400 million! Could anybody please help me explain this?

Your national population does not grow when your nation does not exist.

It will grow over the 28 days of inactivity (so, it'll gain about 150 million; ~360 if in vacation mode), but once the nation ceases so does all population growth.

Once a nation is resurrected, however, it continues to grow from the point at which it left off.
