One of the nations within my region was asking me the other day if it was possible to make his national animal extinct. Honestly, he said it was something he was working towards, and he was wondering if it was even acheivable. :)

My apologies if this is already answered/asked elsewhere, but I didn't see it anywhere. I'm figuring that it's not a current feature, but perhaps it is something that could be considered, if it's not too much coding work to add it ... :)

I believe it's possible for it to be thriving or nearly extinct, but I don't think you can go all the way to extinction. There are a number of issues that use the national animal, and it's hard to subsist on a diet based largely on an extinct lifeform. It probably won't be changed.
