Hi Roland Butter aka Hirsute Satellites just sent me another telegram, and I am requesting a screen shot of my inbox before anything else gets deleted. Could someone please tell me, what is the process for requesting screen shots?

Thanks

Press PRINT SCREEN and go into paint, and press paste.

 :sniper:

If there's something in your TG box that you want to report to the mods, you can't use a screenshot as evidence that it existed.

If you fear it will be bumped off, then you can go to irc.esper.net #themodcave and ask a moderator to look at it immediately. Or post here.

But if you just want a screenshot for yourself, then you're fine with Print Screen. :)

Thanks, actually, any chance you could recover some telegrams that I have been sent but have since been removed from my inbox and put onto a modlog? Specifically, Im looking for any telegram from Hirsute Satellites in which he refers to himself as "the public accountant"? Thanks.

Im confused about the irc.net link you've mentioned - I went to it and couldn't navigate to any thing that seemed remotely related to Nation States. Could you clarify?

If you are connected to an esper.net server, you should be able to type in /join #themodcave to connect to the mod channel.

Hmmm, I don't even know what an esper.net connection is...

In your IRC program, there should be a way you make your connection, as in assign a nickname, choose a server. There you should be able to select an esper.net server from a list. For example I have cosmos.esper.net selected. Once you have this done, connect with the account, and type in /join #themodcave, and wait for a mod to talk to you.

If it still isn't clear what to do, go to the website where you got your IRC program from, and most likely they will have some sort of start-up guide for you to get on IRC.

Sorry, I thought you had already started the walk down the IRC road. I'll back up.

First, IRC = Internet Relay Chat. It's a way for people to get together, and discuss topics in real time. Instant messaging, in a way, is a cousin of IRC.

If you are on a PC, you are going to need to download a progam like mIRC (http://www.mirc.com/). If you are on a Mac, you are going to need to download a program like Ircle (http://www.ircle.com/).

Those sites will explain how to set up the program so you can get to where you need to go. In addition, check out this link (http://www.irchelp.org/) for more on IRC.

Mods are in there 24/7, but may not be active. Just leave your message; they'll get to it.
