Nation Login Problems...

Why is it that everytime I open up a new browser (firefox) and go to the NS website, I get logged in on my friend's nation, instead of my own. I fixed my nation settings so that MY nation will log in automatically, and my friend's nation has that option switched off...But it still logs his on first. And also, he created his nation on my computer, if this fact has any relevance to the issue.

I switched off the "save password" or something feature for the firefox browser, also.

I've found (on Opera) that the last time I save "settings" it becomes the default. Try going to your nation,
go to "settings"
change autologin to "no"
update settings
change autologin to "yes"
update settingsThat's what works for me when I get stuck in a puppet nation.

Nothing...I still get logged on as "The Polish Moose"...I don't think my friend would really care, but the problem just annoys me. Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that he created his country on my computer?

No, you've probably just got your browser settings set to not refresh cookies.

I don't know exactly where Firefox stores cookies, but you could probably open a search window and search for cookies from "nationstates" for game problems and/or "jolt" for forum problems. Manually delete them all.

Caution: There are windows .CAB files with "jolt" as part of the name. Don't delete those.

Actually, one cookie tracks the banner ads Jolt gives, one tracks forum login, and the third (called "autologin") is the source of your problem. Don't need to delete all three, just the autologin.
