Transferring the Ownership of a region

I was wondering if it could be done. Me and a few of my friends started an exclusive region for people that live in my area, but the person that created the region is quitting NS, and that would leave us without a founder. As of late, we have started to be overrun with n00bish characters that don't adhere to our rules. Is there any way for the founder to transfer ownership of a region to someone else? Or, will we just have to all join the UN, (boo!), and get a favorable UN candidate?

The founder nation only can kick everyone from the region, then move out. The region will die at the next update if no one comes back in, then recreate the region with the desired new founder nation. Warning, someone else may refound the region if you're too slow.

Blah, looks like I'll just have to get the Founder's password from him and keep it alive that way... (withdrawing one of the nations from the UN, of course.)

It would also be a good idea for you to be aware of any prior warnings your Founder had. You inherit his problems along with his foundership, so be careful.

It would also be a good idea to withdraw YOUR nation from the UN 24 hours prior to logging on to HIS UN nation. Better safe than sorry.

Just get your friends (not the n00bs) to move to new region so one of the active ones is the founder. Let the kiddies play in the remnants of the old region.
