Apparent posting time limit bug..

I checked the 'check this first' thread and didn't find anything..

Okay, simply put, when I want to post a detailed post in I.I. of any length, the time used to put it in causes the server to kick me off. When I try to log back in to continue the post, I get a 'thread not listed' or something such response.

As a result, I have to copy paste to a notepad and round about through my nation portal to get into the forums and repost again. You can imagine my anoyance with having to put up with this for over a month on NS as it is.

I like this place, but this apparent time limit/cut-off bit makes for a rather user unfriendly board.

I'd like to know, is this a bug, or a deliberate function? Thanks for at least looking. =^^=

From what I know, this happens to everyone. If you take too long to make a post, the forums log you off, and you lose everything. I suggest typing out all of your longer posts on Word, or whatever program you use, and them copy and pasting it. If you are logged out, just log back in, and then post it.

You should probably talk about this on one of Jolt's main forums, not the NationStates forums. The NS admin have no control over the forums.

I don't see what's wrong with typing your posts into another application first, though.
