Does anyone have a complete list of the Jolt Forum Rankings? (EX: New Member; Member; Deadly; Somewhat Deadly...)
I thought that this might be on these forums somewhere but I did a search and nothing of relevance came up.

I miss the old rankings :(
I think everyone misses the old rankings. :p
Does anyone have a copy of them handy or something? I don't remember them and I'd love to take a look at them again. :)

Thanks.
Yeah, it would be nice to see the old ones as I was unfortunately not on the forums in those days (although I was on NationStates).

I remember there was 'minister,' very early on, and the top rank was 'Postmaster-General.' Man, I miss those rankings.

Why don't they just bring them back?

Because NS forums got swallowed up into the Jolt conglomerate. Not really the right word...but the community has a love/hate relationship with Jolt. Love, because making one post does not take repeated efforts and thirty minutes. Hate, because the forums are ugly, the nice smilies of old are gone, the forum titles are gone, and a bunch of silly stuff.
The subscribed threads concept is a marked improvement though. Wish we could get them back though...I think they're working on it, but it's not top-priority.

We were damn lucky they were nice enough to turn the edit threads feature back on too. That could have caused us a lot of problems and would have made our lives so much harder if they'd left it to the hour cap. They do need to be commended for that.

Going to Jolt, the pros definately outweigh the cons. After all, people with 56k can access it, and people using Microsoft won't get a system-wide melt-down everytime they post.

Yeah, same.
I'm close though. Still, if you think it takes a long time to get past member, how about some of the others where you have to wait 1,000 posts? And after that, you're done!

3750=Sp@mQueen Advisor ---> 5000=SemiPro SpamPig
That's gonna stink, hehe.

Also:
2750=Joltbot Shoeshinner --> 3000=Adminbots Boyfriend
Yup. I'm gonna hate that one.

A question for an Administrator: Is it at all technically possible to give us back the old member titles? Furthermore, if that isn't feasible, is there any way we could at least get blanket "NationStateser" member titles that were....not lame?

A cursory glance at the first 10 pages of http://assets.jolt.co.uk/forums/nation_states/top_members.gif (sorted by post order), reveals that anyone but NS forumers can customize their ranking for anything above 5000 posts. It may be much lower than that, but I didn't feel like looking at all those crappy avatars.
All this begs the question: why are NS players considered second-class locked-down Jolt users? Even the Jolt regulars blow off those lame auto-titles. Can we as well, please ... ?

Took me a while, but I tracked them down.

And then there were Reppy's customised titles.
I could have been a Negotiator ! And now a POWER - ...
Its funny you know, I still remember been at just + 250 postings and thinking " Man, I am - never - going to get to 1000 posts, I - know - it ... " And now I just don't notice my post count these days ...
It would be nice if we could have a drop down menu style like for Nation Pre - Names so you could select which one you want ... I know, I know, not a high priority, but still, " I can dream, can't I ? " ;)
( Yeah, and about those smileys, :rolleyes: )

Might want to check the dates of those nations... I believe the customizing is a former feature.

still, it wouldn't be bad. After all, I'm on a few other sites and I like custom titles such as "Bloodthirsty zealot"
