Confirmation email

A friend of mine is trying to get a confirmation email, which isn't being sent despite an attempt with two different legitimate addresses. The error screws up the html page that should display the 'failed to send to email address' page. In addition, because it only detects if the email is sent (not whether it is sent successfully), it refuses to try again for a good while to avoid spamming. Which obviously, it isn't, as the email isn't getting there.
Any idea what's possibly going wrong?

Here's a copy of the page it produces, in case it helps:

It could be a problem with the e-mail provider.

We are aware of this problem and are trying to hunt it down.

I doubt it.
Why would NS produce an error sending the e-mail when the e-mail provider would simply not receive it if there was an error?

Sorry I was a little sleepy when I read it. :(

T'is ok... if the first post would've indicated it was from the e-mail provider, I would've thought that was the problem, but the error itself is the common way NS produces errors.

Ah, I see. Is there a thread with relevant updates on this?

Ya, I had this problem also. So is there anyway to fix this, that will allow me to post on the boards?

Actually, I just looked again. Mine says that one sometimes, but also it says the failed to send on as well.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
