The NS server could be experiencing trouble, or your computer could be jampacked with adware or spyware. Have you ever tried running ad-aware or spybot? That help out your browser, or get a decent firewall. Thats the only thing I can think that would cause your browser to be doing this.

It's most likely the site. It happens to the best of us. Just be happy you're here now and not two years ago...lol

It must be within the last 6 or 7 months when they upgraded to the jolt servers. Even before the jolt servers things were rough.

Especially the forums. But back on topic...
Try moving in and out of your region? That's the usual fix if stats are messing up with your nation, but this doesn't sound like that. Try it anyway - can't hurt.
Me and my brothers have never experienced that, it might be the site or I think it's either a virus in your computer or spyware. Does it say SEND ERROR REPORT on a message you'll get?

If you are a dial-up member of Netzero, Netscape, AOL, or any other ISP that pre-caches web information, you might not get updated pages when you refresh your page. Refesh only works to update the local cache (the elements that are stored on your computer) but does nothing about remote caches.
The forums use an algorithm that tries to force an update, but no such mechanism exists in the Nationstates site. Thus, it looks like you're not answering issues, deleting telegrams, or making regional message board posts; when in fact you are. They just get buried until the next time the ISP allows a refresh.
If this is the case, it's possible the only cure it to change internet providers. Sucks, but that's the price you pay for faster updates via modem.
