Odd forum log-on behavior.

I've come across a very strange pattern when I attempt to log onto the forum. Between about 3:15-4:00 pm EST my computer fails to log onto the forums. The little scroll bar goes half way and stops.
I was just wondering if there was any reason that this is happening, be it insanely high traffic at that time of day or whatever.

This might have something to do with it:

And I just remembered a problem I have often as well, as it just occured. I seem to be unable to get on to the forum between 11:00 and 11:30 pm EST. So, whatever is going on seems to be a pattern.
I noticed people in the other thread were having this problem.
And I do have broadband, university broadband actually, so it's really really fast.

It's not a bug, it's a feature.
Unconfirmed speculation is that Jolt does some sort of daily maintenance about then, and that chews up the server clock cycles. It's been doing it for weeks or months now, so I'd say it's highly likely that the Jolt folks are fully aware of it. They'd most likely look for a convenient time with lower usage patterns, and run it then. Sucks for us USAians that it happens opposite the boring local news half hour.
