There should be a way to ammend the resolutions and able to fix things on a proposal while it is being decided whether or not to take it to the floor. Both of these are deperately needed and I am sure a lot of people will back me on this.

not a bad idea but then you will get some one that will right a prop and when its one vote from the floor, say thier regional del., they go through and c/p a diffrent prop. in its place; such that ban all homosexul's becomes raise all homosexuals to the rank of gods or some 180 like that

Yep, this has been proposed before, and although I'm sure you meant well, there are too many people who would abuse it, so it aint gonna happen.

The good old fashioned writing the proposal out in Notepad, spell checking it, having someone Beta read it, and then, allowing the UN forumites to help a proposal writer out... I think that works very, very well. I echo the sentiments of the previous posters, too.

Well you know what you do you turn it off when it reaches a certain point so it can't be taken advantage of. Probably you turn off the the tool at the half point. That makes the most sense.

Half way point of what? There's a lot of points in the process of submitting a proposal.

When you submit a proposal you must reach a quorum. At the halfway point in reaching that quorum you turn off the tool.

I don't think you are understanding what I'm saying... the quorum fluctates. One day you can be over that "half way mark," the next you might not be...
