Hello everyone! It's his majesty to the Royal Democratic Kingdom of Tihland typing right now. I have one suggestion and one bug report.

Let's get the bug report done first. When I go into the forums, there are two buttons that say "New Post" in order to post a new thread to the forum. One button is near the top of the page, and the other is near the bottom. The button at the bottom does not work at all. Actually, I've noticed this before, but I never thought about pointing it out until now, hehe.

I would also like to make a suggestion. I would like to be able to disable the top thread titles being displayed in the side bar for my account. The reason I suggest this is because I tire of being tempted to go into the forums and basically read arrogant fools' statements on a lot of real life political issues. I know I could just as easily not click on these titles, but they're right there in plain sight. They just cry out "Click me! Click me!" ;), and before I can fight the temptation any further I've already clicked on it and started reading. It's just a suggestion, but I would be better able to control my urges on these things if they just weren't that easy to see.

and regarding the new post button at the bottom of forums.. it works for me.. well it at least takes me to the page to make a new post... what exactly does it do when you click on it?

It's the bottom "New Post" button that doesn't work for me. I can't click on it--it's just a picture. The top one works fine.

Bottom works fine for me.

However, problems with the Forum's functionality is really beyond our control.

Doesn't work with me. Maybe it's a browser problem? I'm using IE.

if your talking about the bottom one to start a new thread it wont work for me
if your talking about the bottom onr to add a post(such as this one) to a thread it does work for me

For posting a reply to a thread, the button at the bottom that says "Reply" works fine.

At the top of this page, if you were to click on Technical, you'd see a list of all the threads in that category. At the bottom of that list is a button that says "New Post". However, it does not function--it is only a picture of a button.

I like the title thread thing. When you are as addicted as I am to NationStates, and a lot of you around here are, you give up trying to fight those urges. ;)
