I'm not sure if this has been brought up before,excuse me if it has.

Is there any chance of seeing a feature added to region controls whereby a founder could delete posts from his own board?

Such a feature would make life invariably easier for the mods and reduce clutter in the mod center if a founder were allowed to deal with trolls,spam and recruitment messages immediately.

I doubt it. If you are the founder (and only if) then you can just use "--CLEARING SPAM--" to clear it, but that will also clear all other posts.

An option in Regional Controls means the UN Delegate can get it as well if permitted. And NS rules state UN Delegates aren't allowed to clear boards.

Jjuulliiaann is right, if you wanna clear something off, and your founder, then just "Clear Spam" it.

The Founder and ONLY the founder of a given region can clear spam from a CH board by saying "Clear Spam" or something similiar to that.

Keep in mind, "founders" does not include puppets of founders.

youll have a conversasion giong on for days and then some random anus comes in and drops a major flame/flame bait and the founder needs to clearit well there gose that disscussion

This thing has been mentioned several times, and rejected for obvious reasons. People will get frustrated when their messages are deleted, and it most certainly will be abused by invader delegates. They'll have another tool to grieve the natives. A ruling delegate would have the perfect tool to kill off the opposition.

Since delegates are not allowed to clear spam anyways, surely this option if could only be made available to the founder, solving the above issues.

That would more than likely require some serious re-written code, which I doubt the Admin have time to do. It's not exactly largly beneficial either, so there's no motive to do it on that front.

If someone posts something that breaks NationStates rules, then contact a moderator, if the post content is bad enough, they will delete it.

well, they could just throw it in along with the part about letting the delegate access the regional control... but still.... it's more practical to just clear spam using "founder clearing spam"

Aye, there's no need to change a system that already works.

Two things:
1) We don't have any plans of implementing this feature
2) If we already restrict an option to just founders (Delegate access) why should it be difficult to restrict something else?
