Checking "La Fee Verte"... RESERVED. That name was used by a former nation.
Uh-oh
Nation Not Found: "la fee verte"

If possible, use your browser's BACK button to return and fix this.

I have a question, and I am sure that there is a problem!
I have some serious remark.
(sorry for my english I am dutch speaking)

I am sure (and pretty sure) that the systeme of "nation names creating" dont work like it should to be working.

10 minutes ago I wanted to create a new nation.... I chose the name "La Fee Verte"... and It didnt excist.
So, I started to fill in the two pages...suddenley my mac did something strange...And I lost connection with the NS site.

No Prob! (I thought), but, afther relogging in at Ns I got "the Reserved answer"......
So I checked the world and nations page....and the answer was--> Uh oh...
Nation not found.

Do you get my point?

In 10 minutes time my chosen name was taken by somebody else, and that nation also died in the same time.

I dont believe this. I really want this name.
Could you please check this... I like this name and I want to use the name.

Thanks.

Btw; Cache, history or preferences of my Mac has nothing to do with this.
(I checked it)

And could you reserve "the name" for me? thanks.

I think if a nation is created and is later deleted, the owner still reserves the name even thought the nation doesn't exist, just in case they want it back. I hope that helps!

P.S. Your English is really good! The Netherlands are awesome ^^

I am playing this game for a long time (fresh puppet comment LOL)

But; there is some probleme in here!?... I didnt excist with La fee verte....and, I still dont excist!

I was not born.... get it!?--> (logged out before finishing "the name session")

And btw...dutch rocks!,indeed, but I am from Belgium :)

(we speak french, german and dutch)

I think this would be best settled via the Getting Help Page (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=help)

but... I am not sure... I don't think it would hurt though

Apologies if I hijack the thread, but nations are deleted after twenty-eight days of inactivity right? So how does one nation go on for ninety-three days?

Because the owner of that nation can come back, create a puppet, and ask the mods to ressurect the original nation. National names are reserved for 18 months after deletion to allow for this IIRC.

Because Hack's looking at the Mod Center, which shows him exactly the last time a nation logged in. No matter if it's 2 days, 93, or 700 some days.

The nation is dead, its owner hasn't logged in for 93 days. It hasn't been resurrected in that period of time, and until the owner comes back or the name is released in the far distant future, noone can have that nation name; it's reserved
