NationStates PC

Would anyone object to a mockup of NationStates, a PC version? It'd incorporate all of the features of NationStates (mabye even some new ones), however it'd be a downloadable product, and would connect to the Internet.

It could have various user levels, and it could go under a different name to avoid copyright struggles. If you'd like, I could write the program and make it totally "user controllable", and plug-in managable, so once the original base is written, I can do ALL the programming and someone else could manage it if they'd like ^_^ anyone agree/object to the idea?

Edit: added more, deleted a dupped sentence

You only need to bump a post once a day.

Anyways, Max is against PC version as it would limit some of the people who could play it. It's a text-based game, and for the most part, will stay that way.

Well I think that he wanted it to be a spinoff of NS based on the PC and not really an official PC based NS that would be endosed all that...

Either way, there was a thread (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=380031) about something similar to this a couple days ago. If you want to create something similar to NS you'd need to email either admin@nationstates.net or salusa@nationstates.net to discuss copyright implications and that sort of thing since NationStates is copyrighted by Max Barry.
