Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, admin@nationstates.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Maybe they're tinkering with it to free up all those inactive nation names. They said they were going to do it soon, so maybe now's the time.

It's down. It will be up as soon as possible. Relax. Go outside. Get some vitamin D instead of Vitamin CRT or LCD. Read a book. But please, we know, so you dont need to keep reporting it.

Well, since NS is hosted by Jolt, I would suspect the server that they run NS on has been overloaded. I have very limited knolege on the subject however and connot say much of use.
Please do not take this the wrong way:
If you cannot say much of use, then do not say anything at all. We know there is a problem. It will be fixed in good time. No amount of postings will make it better.
As Karma said, go outside or read or something--this'll be fixed soon enough and then everything will be back to normal.
