really how do you create a pole; does it require some html form or something, i know theirs a little check box but, how do you tell it what the choices are?
When you've created the thread, you click the 'Thread Tools' button at the top, and select 'Add Poll'.

But how do you finish or delete a poll? Do you have to call the moderators?

Yeah since there is no option to delete it yourself.

You can also create in when you are making your thread. Just click on the "Add Poll" button near the bottom of the thread creation page.
