Is there any way we could have a View Dossier like on the side menu along with our short cuts to our telegrams, issues, etc?

On the old forum, you could switch between puppets without first logging out. Handy.
Now you have to log out and wait for another page refresh before switching. I agree with Goobergucnhia - it would be nice to have it back.

To login, you can just bookmark the login page (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=login). That way you can store passwords too.
But I'd like to see the Dossier added also.

oh yes I remember that, it was very useful, but I didn't even remember seeing it go for some reason, lol.. guess cos I sorta quit ns a while back, and it left when I was gone
Login Box is not really within their control... The old forums operated in PHPbb the new one is incorporated into Jolt's forums which run in vBulletin... It's stuck by the Bulletin Board code, which NationStates has little control over, except changing hosts again.... which would be annoying to the extreme.

Yes. It's odd that you posted it in a thread that has nothing to do with what you are referring to.
Well does "Logout" and then entering new nation and logging in really take all that long? Not that I've done it much, since my only puppet was deleted for inactivity (not much into the puppet idea at present).

It adds anywhere from a few seconds to a couple of minutes, depending on server load. No big deal for one or two puppets, but when I cycle through the 15 or 20 I keep active, it adds up.
I'd also like to point out that this is a "wish list" item, and its absence won't greatly disturb me. It would be nice to have back though. I'm spoiled, what can I say.

I agree that would be a very nice feature. (The one originally mentioned)
