NationStates Jolt Archive

As soon as I created my NationStates account, and entered the Forums, the account was already set up and it is connected to my NationStates one.

However, my friends, after creation of their NS account, had to create a seperate one for these Forums.

Is there any reason why this happens?

They shouldn't have had to.

Ah -- I remember clicking a link sent via email -- but I thought it was to reactivate my NS account after I forgot my password and clicked "Send Me My Password".
