When I created my nation I had the "always stay logged in" settling click on "no", but I continued to be logged into WarAdmiral each time I visited nationstates.net. At one point I thought for some reason switching it to on would fix it, but it didn't, so I clicked "no" again thinking maybe it was a simple bug and that would fix it (I am not a computer person). I still log in automatically to nationstates.net everytime I visit instead of seeing the main page like I would before. What's gone wrong, is the fault at my end?

Delete the cookie NationStates uses, refresh the cache.

That should sort it.

Go to http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/index.php? and look at the bottom of the page. There's a logoff button there, which will force the cookie to clear. You can then logon again via your nation page (the first time with a given nation) or directly into Jolt (anytime thereafter).

You don't have a forum account with a nation until you log on via your nation page. A script automatically registers you with Jolt the first time and syncronizes your nation information with the Jolt forum info. Thus, you have to do your first logon via the nation page, but can log directly into the forums thereafter. If you try to create a Jolt account first, your nation logon will become imported_WarAdmiral.

This is no longer correct. A forum account is created for you at the same moment that you create a nation. However, you still need to go through our link the first time to activate your account.

Regarding the autologin, there will be a cookie from www.nationstates.net called "Autologin", delete that and all should be fine.
