I dont understand!!
What does "OOC" mean? And I've seen some people in threads "tagging" a thread.. What does tagging it do? Does it do anything? :confused: :confused:

OOC stands for "out-of-character." It denotes that a player is speaking as themselves, the person behind the keyboard, rather than as a member of their nation.
IC stands for "in-character." It denotes that a player is speaking as a member of their nation, rather than as the person behind the keyboard.
TAGging a thread refers to the good old days before the move to Jolt when the NS forums used to be phpBB-based. A nation would "tag" a thread in order to locate it later by finding the posts they had made because the search function was turned off to conserve bandwidth, I do believe; the old forums were slower than slow because of the amount of traffic NS attracts. However, note, that the "tag" idea is no longer valid because Jolt as serach capabilities and is generally looked on as spam now.

Can someone please tell me . . . outside of the Pacifics, is it okay to send recruiting telegrams to nations which have just been admitted to the UN, when looked up on the UN page?
Someone told me that this was legal, but I looked in all the "rules" areas I could find, and can't find anything on this question.

No, unfortunately it is no longer legal, unless they are in one of the feeder regions (the Pacifics) or the Rejected Realms.
