Because it should. It doesn't make a lot of sense for me to be dismissing every issue that comes and still have an omnipresent government.

Not neccesarily. You've never seen Canada's former Prime Minister Jean Cretien in "action" have you?

Dismissing an issue does absolutely nothing to your nation stats.

I would figure "dismissing" an issue means the government doesn't even take a look at it, and as such, because it doesn't act in a positive or negative way, the issue is considered neutral - no action taken - and wouldn't affect a thing.

Assuming a Frightening economy is better than All- Consuming, I worked hard to get a Frightening economy, then then I finaly achived i dismissed every issue that came my way to keep everthing put.

The next moring i'm back to All- Consuming. I don't get it?

If you're in the UN, the UN has an effect on your stats.

You don´t have to supose that Frightning is beeter than All Consuming becouse it is,it is the highest form of economy that I have seen.

But when you just reach a new level of Economy status it is very unstable at the beginning. You will be changing for a while between F & AC but after a while it will settle down on F as long as you don´t choose hard anti Economic decitions

The UN always drastically affected my economy. Of course, now that our people have rioted and dropped our membership from the UN, I expect to be quite filthy rich very soon. :D

I used to answer all my issues out of some kind of nation-neglect paranoia. Now I dismiss quite a few, because I don't want to sacrafice certain stats and rankings. It doesn't affect my nation when I dismiss it at all, which is why I am dismissing it. :)
