Definition of Marriage?

I got this telegram some hours ago:
---
Compliance Ministry, Received: 4 hours ago | Laws have been enacted to bring the Armed Republic of Angered into compliance with the United Nations resolution "Definition of Marriage".
---
I checked the entire archive of passed UN resolutions and there is no such resolution! Can someone please explain why I am being notified about a resolution that doesn't exist?

It exists - it just passed about 5 hours ago. After checking, I see that you are correct.

Since the next resolution is not yet up for vote, I can guess that it has not yet been officially entered into the records by the game. Check when the Stem Cell research proposal goes up for vote - it should then be the first on page 17, number 81.

However, this is odd. Why does the update that passes the resolution not place it into records as well? And why does it not bring the next one up for vote?

It takes about a day for the resolution to process and get into the list.

Then the next one comes up for vote.

This happened with "Good Samaritan Laws". It'll be in there eventually.

Is there anyway to ensure that it's all done at the same update? Or would that take too long for the update, with all of the UN members?

I made an extensive report of illegal proposals last night in the UN. Of the 17 I did report, two of them were legitimate, yet unofficial, repeals for Definition of Marriage. I say "legitimate but not official", because they were not in the repeal category, due to it's not being available, but they would have been allowed if they were. I asked the moderators in that report to delete the unofficial repeals, but not warn the authors, due to the lack of ability to make an official repeal at the time. I would like to know if my suggestion was taken in - if there is a fault with the system, I would be shocked to see the moderators penalizing for it.

Repealing a proposal before it has even passed counts as illegal, and later just becomes the same as any 'incorrect category' proposal.

I found the resolution, but only by manually entering the address:
http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=UN_past_resolutions/start=81

There is still no link to the 17th page, which is the one containing the 81st resolution, can someone please fix this?

If it's the UN update that's causing it, we'll have to wait for the next one to be sure.

Now that Stem Cell has passed, there is a Page 17. With both of them on it.

However, I did not get a telegram about Stem Cell's passing.
