I think we should be able to choose national anthems and other people will be able to listion to them. This would add another feature that real nations have so I figure why not.

This has been suggesting many times over for both NS 1 and/or NS 2. Shot down for NS 1, highly desirable for NS 2.
What nations should do, is check to see what suggestions have been fielded before throwing them out...

The main problem with the NS1 is that offensive anthems would end up getting posted, and the storage and bandwidth would have problems. However, in NS2, where you will supposedly be paying to play, you can put up with whatever crap you've paid for. (Very basically)

Your argument can be used against any type of user-created piece of their nation.
However, in NS2, where you will supposedly be paying to play, you can put up with whatever crap you've paid for. (Very basically)
Just because you pay for something, that doesn't mean you have free reign to do whatever you want with your nation or its attributes. You can still be banneed, ejected, etc. at will for rule violations, regardless of how much you pay.
In my case, If we had national anthems' "Roses" by OutKast would be mine.
