The fact theat the constitutional monarchy is not in the list of choices for a gov. type has plauged me. I think with a few minor changes it could be the best type of gov. here are a list of reasons for a contitutional monarchy and changes I would make.

1. Ther is a prime leader for thepeople to look up to. If he is a skilled leader the people and troops of the NS draw morale and good tiding from him. If the leader that is in power by birth is weak the congress who is elected by the people can stage a peacefull revolution.

No kidding.

I have been doing everything in my power to become an imperial state and I get stuck with this "Corporate Police State" crap.

Umm, my nation is a constitutional monarchy. I don't think you read the list closely enough.

I think they are meaning the type of name you are given by the game, as you play it, not the choices when you name yourself.

Actually it is called ''UN Category'', and it changes over time as you deal with the issues with which you are presented.

for example
Democratic Socialists
Scandinavian Liberal Paradise
Corporate Police State
Compulsory Consumerist State
Father Knows Best State
Psychotic Dictatorship
Iron Fist Socialists
Corrupt Dictatorship

and so on.

At the end of the day, if the list doesn't give you what you want, wait until your are at 500 million population, and instead of a list, you get to type whatever you want in (as long as it's legal ;) of course.)

I think people are talking about two different things here. The complaint isn't that there's no Constitutional Monarchy pretitle (there is), but that there is no Constitutional Monarchy UN Category (ie: Capitalizt, Psychotic Dictatorship, Civil Rights Lovefest).

Since UN Categories represent the politics of your government, as opposed to your type of government, you're not going to see Constitutional Monarchy. Much like there isn't one for "Republic" or any other type of government. The pre-title is where you can describe what type of government you are (or screw around, like me: "The Robotic Musicians of Man or Astroman").

I can't imagine that this will ever change.

I went from "The Republic of Tekania" to "The Constitutional Republic of Tekania" after I hit 500 million... it's a benefit. Don't worry...

Yes, Title is a name only...

Your UN catagory is a reflection of how you operate by policy.

"The Constitutional Republic of Tekania" is present a "Civil-Rights love-fest"

See, the problem with suggesting one type of government category, UN category, whatever it's called - it's late - is that once one is suggested, everyone will begin suggesting them and sooner or later, we might as well just pick our own category from a drop down menu.
