I can only assume this has been suggested in the past, but...
It would be cool to give each nation a textbox in the settings menu so they could write extra points of interest and have them show up below the description. For example, my country requires every citizen to own a gun and pass an accuracy test to vote, so I would have a major advantage during an invasion of my country.

This has been brought up many times before, and unfortunately with the way the coding works in the national description, adding to it like you would suggest can seriously screw with the way a country's mechanics work in relation to the game itself.
