I'm curious about population/start dates and what happens to them in the case of nations that die and subsequently are resurrected.

Does their population reflect their true start date? ie does it show increase for however many days they were gone? Or does it instead reflect however many days they've been... "alive" on the NS servers?

And, does the date posted on the Jolt Forums reflect the resurrected date or the true start date? It does reflect start date, right? :p

As far as I know, population only increases when a nation is "alive." If it dies of inactivity, it gains nothing in the way of population and will resume to increase in population only if its resurrected.

Poluation does not grow while a nation is deleted. It starts again once the nation has been restored.

Nations that went inactive after the Jolt-move, should retain their start-date on the forums.
