Any plans for a new distribution chart?

Like the one linked to in the technical thread. It would be interesting to see where we are at now.

I'll look into it, I'd be curious too.

Confused.

The graphic Frisbeeteria linked to is dated.

And yes, it would be actually nice to run the survey script (I'm assuming it is a script) again.

If somebody does run it again, another interesting thing would be to run the script prior to a UN resolution passing and shortly thereafter, to see the net impact of the resolution on the relative classifications of nations.

And along the same lines it would probably be fun to have three different charts -

One of the total nations

One of UN nations

One of non-UN nations

That might be a tall order, I don't know how complicated it is to do this. Anything would be great to get though.

Actually, if we had the script, I'd like to take a snap shot the day prior to a resolution passing and the day after, to illustrate how the UN moves its members. I honestly don't know how significant its impact on the UN or total (36,000 of 120,000 nations) is, but feel it could go either way.

In order for this to be a successful exercise, the script would have to be run after many-a-UN resolution in order to see proper results; I don't think that's necessarily feasible.

Because of the way the nation data is stored, running any sort data mining script on it massacres the server.
