There should be 24h voting time per resolution!

Some countries are located so far from UN-HQ (for example "Weird Sunny Beaches" in Finland) that when they recieve a telegram telling that there's a resolution to be voted it's already too late to get to the voting place. Therefore I suggest that voting time should always be 24h (so that you don't have to check your telegrams in the middle of the night in distant countries).

I'm not sure what kind of time-warp you live in, but I always see a few DAYS of voting time on each resolution. Perhaps you don't check up on your country on weekends? That's your prerogative, but sometimes the rest of the world marches on.

Just click on the UN link once in a while.

Also, nobody from the game sends a telegram that a resolution is up for vote. The only telegram sent is the one from the Compliance Ministry after the resolution passes.

As a UN member, you are expected to keep up with the state of resolutions on your own. Each resolution stays up for between 3 1/2 and 4 days of voting, which should be plenty of time.

Actually, I think they said that sending a "resolution up for vote" telegram to every UN member is too much of a strain for the site. However, I think that UN delegates (about 2300 members) should be sent a "resolution up for vote" telegram, with an additional option of e-mail notification.

The site/server can easily handle it, it's not added as it has no point to it.

Active members are the ones that vote, and if your active, then you'll check the UN page (if your a UN nation.) You'll notice there's a resolution up for vote. You don't NEED a telegram telling you.

Sal has said something to that effect several times. A "go check the UN page" telegram request has been turned down many many many times. And probably will be for many more times to come.

If it is on Sal's list for whatever reason, it's about rock bottom.
