You mean region? I think it's about 150 characters (don't quote me on that).
I think BBCode (the formatting code from these forums) works on it, but again, don't ask me, just experiment.

The codes you can use are [b], [i], [u], and [hr].
[hr] gives you a line
That's it. no [url] no [img]
