i have a new Custom flag for my nation

and i recently added one to try it out anyway it wont let me use the one i am trying to upload

I was just wondering if you could explain the significance of some of the details of your flag.

That isn't allowed, but I'm not sure exactly how you can prove that the flag was originally created by you.

Well, I have the original on my computer with the date it was created....I just think it's bad form for someone to go and steal someone else's hard work.

I'm not sure if it's not allowed by the rules of the game, but it most certainly isn't a nice thing to do without permission, especially if it's a hihgly recognisable flag. Flag Thief did so with permission, and it was legal, no?

And Yes, it is quite a distinctive flag. There is no doubt the offending nation ripped it off directly from me.

i dont know thats why i asked
a region i had a nation in used a single custom flag for all members
it was ripped off all the time and still is asfar as i know

Thanks for asking, but it was a one-time deal. It took me forever to do because I really suck at photoshop, plus just because it is distinctive doesn't mean it is GOOD ;)

There are a few people out there I know make custom flags all of the time--you'd probably be better served by asking them.

Using someones elses flag is legal as far as I know, Flag Thief never asked permission from the users that had their flags stolen. Also there is no way to check who the original image belongs to.

When using a public site like this, there is usually something in the ToS that says anything you use is publically available.

If someone else "steals" your flag, my recommendation is to send them a polite telegram asking them not to use it. Most players will comply.
