Message box idea

People are always adviced to guard certain messages in their TG boxes, as proof of something (Flaming, spamming and stuff like that), but our boxes have a limited size, and are easy to clear by other messages, if you are a delegate or recruiter.
What looks like a great idea is a "save box", like the ones in php forums. There you can save the messages you need, and your TG box doesn't fill up that fast anymore, and you don't have to constantly see the flames in the reported messages anymore.
On top of that, moderators don't have to act the same day anymore, because you have the evidence saved on a secure place

You can't possibly acquire that many very important telegrams that you need to save for evidence in the game - take the ones that aren't important, copy them all over into notepad, delete them from your box, and you'll have plenty of space.

Ten.

When you are a recruiter, you get at least 20 or 30 telegrams each day. Your idea will not work for delegates of big regios (Who have lives outside the game) and for recruiters.

My idea is better :p

I've been delegate of many a big region, as well as being a very industrious recruiter in my time. I never had problems. :p

Never delegate of a feeder ;)

I for one would support this idea, due to my many precious telegrams and the rate at which stupid questions pile up in my inbox. However, I'm not sure how feasable it is or whether the Time:Usefulness ratio is enough for Salusa/Max/[violet] to bother coding it.

Pffft, you wouldn't last more than a single update as delegate of a feeder :p

Pfft, delete that junk already. :(

Awww, why would I want to delete such cherished mementos? :D

My puppet is recruiting somewhere, and I get at least a "thank you" note every 5 minutes. They are all soo happy that I rescued them from the boredom of a feeder :p

In other words; I am popular, and I need an allowance, erm... bigger TG box :D

*A "savebox" is a great idea, Carinthe! I am on it right away. :) (Will Salusa say)*

Pffft, you wouldn't last more than a single update as delegate of a feeder :p That's mean, you're just insulting me now. I'll have you know I have been delegate of a feeder for longer than an update.
Awww, why would I want to delete such cherished mementos? :DBecause you're evil... and they suck...

Yes, I know we're off topic now. Sorry Cor :p

Because you're evil... and they suck...

Well, it would be the author's fault if they sucked... ;)

Sure you can. Have you had a resolution reach the UN floor?

Don't believe me, Hersfold, Galdago, XG, Frisbeeteria, Tuesday Heights, and some of the other nations that also frequent Technical that have had resolutions on the UN floor can assure you that on a given day you can easily get 15 telegrams in a few hours.

Each of our nations felt strongly about not only our proposal, but open about defending it and in most cases would loved to have sent a telegram back to each response.

In my most recent resolution one nation telegrammed me having had voted no, but later when I replied, telegrammed back to inform me that they changed their votes. While this is one nation, the point of storing messages for moderator view is important enough that I wouldn't be so quick to suggest that 15 telegrams is always a high number. I'm glad that I was able to change that nation's vote, and opinion of me. :)

I have no intentions of implementing a save box.

How would this idea differ from simply upping the TM limit?

You don't have to see the flaming TG, every time you have to check the TG box. Also it can't be wiped by a spammer. TGs saved in a savebox can patiently wait until a moderator finally has time to check your box for the spam or flames. Right now I don't even bother to keep the proof. If the mods don't find it offending enough, I have to look at it for weeks.

Well, Salusa has been very clear in this.
