Suggestion: A storefront-only forum

One thing I think might reduce some International Incidents clutter (and the "bump" posts) is to create a forum strictly for storefront purchases. That way, countries that want to "buy" equipment can go to one central location to find their favorite store and I.I. can be devoted more to genuine RP.

There are also a couple of threads that could be stickified in such a forum:

How To Build A Better Storefront (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=353255), which contains tips and suggestions from several storefront owners.

(Proposed) Storefront Code of Conduct (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=359981) which is a list of suggestions to improve the experience for EVERYONE in a storefront.

Both threads are links that appear in Euroslavia's guide to NationStates and one or both also appear in Jaxusism's guide.

I think that its a brilliant idea. Wouldn't more people open up storefronts though in order to fill it up. I can imagine every nation with its own storefront.

It's possible that a bunch of people could jump in with a storefront, but it seems that certain storefronts get more serious attention than others. I think the creme would still ultimately rise to the top and the better storefronts would still get the most attention.

I think this idea is grrrrrrrreeeate!

I would be suprised if many people started storefronts if this idea were enacted. You either like to run them or you don't. That they are on II now instead of a storefront forum I doubt stops many players.

It would be nice to slow the pace on the II forum. Doing this would really help. The only minus I see is that I'm not sure the mods really want to go through moving a bunch of threads to a new forum.

Is there any chance a mod could reply to this idea with a yes, no, or maybe we will implement this idea?

I'm no mod, but it's been turned down many times before.
