It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, liberal, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Equality, Education, and Commerce. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Gambling industry.

Organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region, same-sex marriages are increasingly common, streakers swamp all public events in order to bare it all, and the land is famous throughout the region for its rampant lawlessness. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Yammo's national animal is the kookaburra, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the kangarouble.

This was taken from my nation. Yesterday the rate was about 55-60%. Now it is 100%. I seriously doubt that by removing laws and government would push the rate up 40%

Any ideas what happened?

The decision on specific issues at whether you wish to change the percent of your taxes is why it is higher. You must have chose an answer to a specific issue to raise taxes. I'm not sure why it increased by that much...but alas..I suppose the number is mostly random.

The issue I answered was about abolishing government, and started off about the 'anarchy situation' I answered to get rid of government.

So that should have LOWERED my tax rate.

It was a flat rate before...btw.

I only had one message at that point (I check here twice a day usually)

I chose not to have the organ donations, I allowed same-sex marriages and allowed streaking. Those were the 3 last issues.
