I would like to create my own UN only with a different name and people just for me and my friends is this possible or im i crazy

Um no it would not be possible, it would be breaking the copywrite of the game. If you really want to do it ask violet and maybe she'll ask Max for you.

I wouldn't doubt that, in order to do it, you need to do a crapload of coding, at least, it would seem that way.

Could you please tell me who Violet is please and how to contact her.

Okay, I see it.

Okay, the grammar is bad enough that the question is hard to understand, but I think "Hiraldo" is asking to create a copy of NationStates so that he can have his own NationStates world (complete with United Nations) just for him and his friends.

Is NationStates even copyrighted? I've never seen any disclaimers/symbols, etc... but I could be wrong...

i'd say that the code was IP, and the graphics could be copyrighted, (i assume the ones from the book are)

If you create an off-site forum with your own type of UN or organization, then, that's fine.

If you are asking us to create a new aspect of the game for just you and your friends, the answer is, "No."

Regarding copyright, etc. With a few exceptions, all portions of the game are the intellectual property of Max Barry. He owns all of the code, the pages, the templates, many of the images, and (IIRC) to some extent the algorithms and methods of modelling your nations. In general, if it's part of the game, it's a pretty safe guess that he owns it.
