In every issue, there is usually a name. Once you decide on the issue, the names all change. This is because the page refreshes and the names regenerate. Is there any way to fix this?

No, it's a function of the @@RANDOMNAME@@ macro.

Well, since every time the issue itself is generated during a refresh, the random name appears during the reload... thus, it's dependent on the reload to refresh and by eliminating that feature the idea of "random names" would disappear, if I understand correctly, completely.

I'm not exactly sure why you'd want this "fixed".

Well it looks kinda weird when I want to follow the suggestion of, lets say, "Mike D." and then I select the option and it tells me I'm going with "Adam H."
It's just kinda funny.

LOL random names! The stories we could tell you. The best is when I allowed what seemed like a woman to be let out for walkies by her master suddenly turn into a man.

Either way, the name wouldn't matter, whether it was "Lucy L" or "Max Barry" ;) . Just the fact that you made a decision on the issue is all that matters.

Well, that depends on the implementation. It's quite possible to generate the randomized names only once per issue per player (like, storing a seed value for the randomization process with the number of the issue in queue), or one could use the nation name and issue number to generate the seed value. In other words: then you'd have the same names for each issue even when receiving the same issue again later, but different names between issues or players. There's lots of possibilities for implementation, but any of these would require time and effort invested by Admin and as such it isn't up to us to decide tasklists and priorities.

Fixing this is much more trouble than it's worth.
