I wondered why the national flag of Libya does not appear in the list.

If this has been asked before, I'm sorry but I haven't found it. (Yes, I have searched.)

IIRC, three flags are missing from the list and Libya is one of them.

If you google for it's flag, you can just upload it.

It's green. That's it! If you want Libya just go into MSPaint and make a flag shaped rectangle and colour it green. Not that hard.

Just because it's "green" and that's it doesn't mean it shouldn't be included in the list of flags.

thats because we dont consider it to be a real country

Azerbaijan, Djibouti, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Faroe Islands, Fiji, Georgia, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Maldives, Nepal, Northern Marianas, Oman, Tajikistan, Tonga, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, Vatican City, Western Samoa, Yemen, Yugoslavia and Zaïre also appear to be missing.

That's because we don't consider them real countries, either.

When you create your country, there's a list of flags for you to choose from as your default flag... you can also view this list to change your flag in the Settings part to the left of your screen in the main NS window.

Why allow Estonia and Lithuania, but not Latvia? They're all equally important Baltic Nations. And Kyrgyzstan is on the list, but not Kazhakstan? Why exclude these flags? I do understand that one can obtain those flags from FOTW or google, but why not in NS itself? I do like creating my own flags though, as I have up now.

I've always just thought we could eliminate picking a flag completely since you have the option to upload anything you want there, within reason.

Actually, only Max Barry, [violet], and SalusaSecondus have access to the game code, and there are some things that Salusa needs to get approval on from Max or [violet] before implementation.

The missing flags are probabaly an accidental oversight.
