I was sniffing around on the world and I noticed the nation of glorious hack. His full name is "The Semi-Autonomous Technocratic Oligarchy of The Most Glorious Hack". I wanted to see how a similar title would look before Holy Panooly... Strangely I only get "The Semi-Autonomous Technocratic of Holy Panooly". Do mods have some other hidden privileges? Just want to know

Titles set through the standard player interface have a character limit.

Titles set by a Game Moderator do not have a limit.

Ah I see... Wouldn't it be something if veteran players (one year and older) would receive some privileges as well or this impossible to do

This is a code limitation, so the appropriate place to ask would be the "Technical" forum. Hence, iMove http://www.forums.jolt.co.uk/images/icons/icon2.gif "Technical".

I think even if it was possible, it would unfortunately cause more problems than it is worth. Players with obnoxiously long nation names and such.

maybe a longer limit if you have played for over a year? I don't know what the current limit is.

The current limit is more than enough.
We have to draw the line somewhere, and there's no real point extending it for others.

Besides, being able to have somewhat longer nation pretitles is seriously the only perk us moderators have now! Used to be that only the mods could have custom pretitles back in the day! But no, then the Powers That Be decreed "Any nation over 500 million population can customize their pretitle!"

By the way, the current limit is 28 characters for non-mods.

28 characters? Seems more than enough.
Why would anyone want such long pretitles?
