How do you make those nifty pictures people use as pictures of the people that are talking in their RPs?
I have tried making JPEGS larger through re-sizing, and it just doesn't work. How is it done? Anyone?

You need to be a little more specific...
If you mean this:

Then it's just a matter of finding someone to host the image (I use Photobucket), and putting the URL inside image tags (sans spaces):
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/Tindalos/Victor.jpg
If you want to know how I got that image, well, I went to images.google.com and did a search (specifically, 'bowie heathens') and found an image I liked. I cropped it, resized it (using Irfanview for both) and uploaded it to Photbucket.
Then it's just a matter of including it in your text with whatever "signature" you choose to use. ie:

Glad I could help. I know a lot of people like to use Photoshop for such things, but when you're just doing minor resizing, Irfanview works wonders. It's actually one of the first programs I install after getting a new computer. It's small (~100kb) and quite efficient, and if you download the plugin patch, it'll deal with just about every form of image, video, and audio.
Heh... and I don't even work for them. I just really like the program.
