What Do You Think Of This Idea?

I want to make a thread where people could just post lots of random stuff to test the features of the forum. EX: People who want to use HTML, smiles, etc. You could just test it out here if you wanted to try, for example, to mess with quotes and see what you could do. Would this be allowed? It might bog down the server so I don't want to get in trouble with this. I've just always wanted to play around with the forums text editor. Please don't use this thread for that, instead, use it to discuss my idea. If it seems like it will be a success, the I will start the thread. ;)

HTML is disabled. Everything else you can test with the "preview button".

I noticed that HTML was disabled. Ahem. Not to be a bother, but would you mind directing me to a sticky that explains that or something?

Oh, I was just wondering about the reason behind disabling the HTML.

HTML could really slow down the forums. That and it can make some ugly things. That is probably the reason.
