Alright, I read what belongs in the Technical Forum & what doesn't, & I looked around for similar posts, & didn't see any, so here goes:


I have a suggestion to add something to NationStates (An "improvement").

My idea is that nations, in addition to choosing their name, flag, national animal, & currency, also be able to set a name & position title for their nation's leader.

For example, the user could choose from a drop-down list, a title for their nation's leader, like "President", "King", etc... They could also set a name for that leader, eg, "Bob Bobbington", "Max Barry", etc...

The name & title would be displayed in nation profiles, & it could also be used in issues (ie, @@TITLE@@, @@LEADER@@, etc)


What do you think?

This idea has already been presented, and while not planned to be implemented in NS I, it might just be added in NS II.

Heh. You think you get an original idea, then discover that at least 10 others are thinking the same thing.
