My country of Runny Arse Cannons, just vanished. I was checking my issues then decided to restart because things were running slow and tadaa! gone. At first some of the links to my nation were still there but now its completely vanished. What gives?

My guess is that some annoying troll like "crazy girl" reported your name as offending her. Even though your nation has been around for months.
Some losers just search for reasons to file a report. They have fantasies of becoming a moderator. They think they are being helpful.

"Runny Arse Cannons" is, however, a relatively offensive name. Under the Terms of Service (http://www.nationstates.net/pages/legal.html) which you agreed to, "You may submit content to NationStates.net so long as it is not obscene, illegal, threatening, malicious, or defamatory, does not invade the privacy or infringe the intellectual property of a third party, and does not constitute 'spam.'" Offensive names fall under these parameters, and are deleted without warning.

Routinely, the moderators will run across national names that are offensive but haven't been caught, yet, which might explain your case... nevertheless, your nation's name was still against ToS - no matter how long it took for them to catch it.
