Could somebody tell me how to resize the jumbo image in this thread?

HTML tags won't work on the forums, so there is no way to resize that image. You'll have to copy and paste it into a graphics package (Such as Photoshop, or Microsoft Photo Editor) and resize it, then upload it to some webspace. (e.g. from photobucket.com)

It might be simpler just to link to the image, rather than put it directly into the post.

Thanks Myrth. I'll see what I can do. I knew about the HTML thing because I already tried to use HTML tags to resize it.
